Pastor justin deeter
Justin Deeter is the Lead Pastor of Redemption Church at New Hope. Justin is married to his wife Kaitlyn and has three children: Jude, Ellie Grace, and Lucy. Justin graduated from Charleston Southern University with a BA in Religion before completing his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Pastor Justin completed his Ph.D. in historical theology from SEBTS in May 2020.
Pastor josue gomes
Pastor Josue serves as the Associate Pastor of Redemption Church at New Hope. He has been married to his wife, Brittany, since May 2016. They have no children as of yet. Josue holds a BA in Languages from a Federal University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, his country of origin. He completed his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and Preaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC in May 2021. Other than the Bible, Josue loves to read theology and fantasy, go on walks with his wife, play chess, and spend time with family.
PAstor tim dale
Pastor Tim has been married to his wife and best friend Carol for 50 years and they are blessed with 2 married children and 8 wonderful grandchildren! He is retired from a long career with BB&T and has been part of the first group of Redemption Elders. Besides time with the grandkids, Tim enjoys reading theology, discipling men, golf, and UNC sports, especially basketball.
pastor jimmy foxx
Pastor Jimmy was born and reared in the western part of North Carolina. He came to the eastern part of the state to attend NC State in 1969 and never returned west. He met his wife Kay while attending State. In August 2022 they will celebrate 51 years of marriage. They have a son and a daughter both married. They now have four granddaughters. Jimmy is retired from a 30 year career at SPC where he was the sheet metal fabrication division manager. He has been involved in several new church starts through the years and has served in number of roles within the church including deacon and building boards. He also spent many years as a member of the North Carolina Baptist Men's disaster relief team. He and Kay are very proud and excited to be a part of the vision of Redemption Church at New Hope as founding members and to have the honor as serving as an Elder.
pastor brian gamble
Pastor Brian was born and raised in Shelby, NC. He earned his pharmacy degree at Wingate University and works for Realo Discount Drugs in Wilson. Brian has been married to his wonderful wife Ginger for 10 years! They spend much of their free time trying to keep up with their two energetic young daughters. Brian enjoys playing golf, board games, and all types of sports. He and Ginger also enjoy traveling to new places and seeing all that God has made!

Pastor Justin serves as a lay elder to Redemption Church at New Hope. He is married to his wife Meagan and they have three children: Glenn, Susie, and Lawton. Justin and Meagan grew up in Wilson and were high school sweethearts. They enjoy spending time with their kids usually at the lake, beach, or the mountains of NC.
Pastor Zach Zervas
Zach serves as the Pastoral Assistant of Family Ministry at Redemption Church at New Hope. He and his wife, Casey, have been married since 2017, and they have two children, Hadley and Carson. Zach graduated from Bob Jones University in 2017 with a BA in Bible, and from Shepherds Theological Seminary in 2019 with a MA in Christian Ministry. Zach will also have completed a Masters of Divinity from Shepherds in 2024. Zach’s interests and passions include spending time with his wife and kids, Philadelphia sports teams, and playing baseball in the summers.

Tyler Craft - Worship Leader
Tyler serves as our worship leader at Redemption Church at New Hope. He and his wife Natalie have five children: Alynnah (with the Lord), Ameleigha, Alizah, Anorah, and Haddon. Tyler is a gifted musician who oversees our worship ministry. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies at Southeastern, where he also serves as a research associate at the Caskey Center for Biblical Text and Translation.
