At Redemption Church at New Hope, we take our beliefs seriously as we believe Scripture and the Gospel message is what binds our members together. The focus of our faith is the Lord Jesus Christ. We rejoice in the common bond we share with “all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:2). As a church, we are united together by shared doctrinal convictions that are summarized in a number of creedal and confessional statements. Our theology is best described as historic, reformed, and baptistic.
As a church, we stand in the tradition of Christian orthodoxy, and hold to the historic creeds of the church: the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Chalcedon Confession.
However, as a particular body we have united around a more detailed confession of faith, which includes the Nicene Creed as well as a modified version of the New Hampshire Confession of Faith.
