what to expect?

Visiting a new church for the first time can feel a bit overwhelming. However, you will find Redemption Church at New Hope to be a warm and welcoming group, eager to help you feel at home as you visit with us for worship. Here are a few questions you may have before you visit.

When and Where Do You Meet?

We meet at 5142 NC Hwy 58 N. on Sunday mornings. We have our Core Seminars for adults and children from 9:15-10:00 AM, and then we gather at for coffee and fellowship before service. Worship service begins at 10:30 AM and concludes before noon.

Where do I Park and Enter?

You are welcome to park in the paved or gravel parking lot. Enter through the main entrance, marked by signage. You will be greeted by someone at the door. If it's your first time with us they will guide you to the Welcome Table. If you have children, they will walk with you to check-in your children.

What is the Dress?

The dress is casual at Redemption Church at New Hope. You will see people dressed from business casual to jeans and a shirt. Come as you are!

Is Child Care Available?

Yes! We believe that every child is a unique gift from the Lord and created in His image. Our deepest desire and constant prayer is that each one will come to know, trust, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ as we study, play, and grow together. During the worship service, childcare and Bible Study are available for nursery-preschoolers. Before the sermon, kindergartners will be dismissed to go with a teacher for Bible Study. Elementary-aged children and up join us for worship! We believe it's important to have children worship alongside the rest of the body and encourage parents to take the opportunity with their elementary children to teach them how to worship. Beginning at 10:15 AM, all children going to Bible study must be checked in by their parent or guardian before the worship service.

What is the Style of Music?

At Redemption Church at New Hope, we place a strong focus on congregational singing. We sing both older and newer songs in a contemporary style. We select songs filled with robust and edifying lyrics that are fitting for congregational singing. These songs are typically led from contemporary style band.

What is your Worship Service Like?

Our worship includes scripture reading, reciting of creeds and confessions, prayer, congregational singing, and a sermon.

children

We love children at Redemption Church at New Hope! We are passionate about coming alongside parents to help them disciple their children in the word of God. On Sunday mornings we offer child care and Bible Study for infants-kindergarten. We eagerly welcome elementary-aged children in our worship service. At times, elementary-aged children squirm a bit, but we welcome the small distractions here and there because we want children to learn how to worship alongside their parents. For more information check out the page for Redemption Kids.

Morning Service – 10:30am

  • Birth – 3 years: Childcare and Bible Study are available during the morning service. Check-in begins at 9:15.
  • K-4 & 5: Check-in begins at 9:15, then Kindergarteners will join their families in the sanctuary for the first part of morning worship. They will later be dismissed for Bible study just prior to the sermon. If your kindergartener is going to Bible study, he/she must be checked in BEFORE the service.
  • Elementary Students: Elementary-aged children are warmly welcomed as they join us for worship! We believe it's important to have children worship alongside the rest of the body, and learn that they too are valuable to Him. We encourage parents to take this weekly opportunity with their children to teach them how to engage in joyful and loving worship.

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ.” Romans 10:17
