The Vision

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” Deuteronomy 6:4-7 (ESV)

At Redemption Church at New Hope, we love kids!! We believe that every child is a unique gift from the Lord and created in His image. Our deepest desire and constant prayer is that each one will come to know, trust, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ as we study, play, and grow together.

On Sunday mornings, your child will be warmly and joyfully welcomed into our church as we seek to love each one in the same way Christ loves us! You can know that your child will be loved, nurtured, encouraged, and prayed for as our volunteers faithfully share the gospel through engaging lessons and activities. We use The Gospel Project where the goal is to “take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.”

Our aim is not only to teach our children, but to equip and assist families in discipleship as we believe that parents are the primary shepherds in the lives of their children. To aid families in that privilege, we will provide take-home material which reinforces Sunday’s Bible lesson and helps promote deeper understanding and discussion throughout the week.

Secure Check-In

At Redemption Church at New Hope, we value the safety and care of all of our children. Our childcare volunteers have all passed a thorough background check, and many have extensive childcare experience.

If you are attending for the first time, please check-in at the Redemption Kids information table. We will need the following information: parent/legal guardian, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions for each child. The information will be entered into our database to maintain our secure check-in system.

To further ensure the safety of our children, we will have matching badges for each child and parent that are printed at the check-in desk. The parent receives a claim badge with a code that matches the code on the child’s badge, and when the child is picked up, the parent must verify codes with their child’s teacher. If we need to reach a parent during the service, we will text you at the number provided at check-in.
